Come prepared to play games and learn strategies to help your students understand and develop deep knowledge of the following fraction concepts: fraction equivalency, equivalency between fractions/decimal and percent, simple operations with fractions. Handout will contain gameboards, fraction estimators, as well as concept skill checklists for assessment. Ideas can be integrated immediately into your program and used whole class, small group or in center instruction Games are easily differentiated and integrate the use of cards and dice. COME PREPARED TO PLAY!
