Thursday February 19, 2026 1:00pm - 3:20pm MST
The English language is complex and can be confusing for students when learning to read and write. This session will take you through a brief history of the English language to shed light on how English evolved from a jumble of influences into the rich, rule-filled (and sometimes rule-breaking) language we use today. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the rules that govern the English language, as well as a few strategies to help students navigate through the complexity.
