This session offers a practical look at the psychoeducational assessment process—what it is, what it isn’t, and how teachers and school teams can play an active role before, during, and after the assessment. We’ll explore how to gather meaningful classroom data, complete screening tools effectively, and share observations that strengthen the formal assessment. Educators will also learn how to interpret and implement assessment recommendations in realistic and supportive ways within the school setting. Designed for teachers, counsellors, LATs, and administrators, this session helps demystify the process so that psychoeducational assessments become collaborative tools for understanding and supporting every learner.
