Join Alissa from ARC Foundation, and Star from the Fyrefly Institute as they discuss Joyful Resistance in Times of Pushback.
Participants will be encouraged to explore their personal gifts and the types of diverse allyship these gifts lend themselves to on an individual basis with the intention of empowering educators to 'do the work, even when scared’.
This knowledge is then grounded in current lived realities for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks in Alberta (particularly re Bill 27) from a strength based approach so that folks are able to develop actionable ways in which to offer their personal gifts in joyful acts of resistance, however that looks for them.
