Become your own community planner as you learn how to draw and paint a whimsical winter landscape using watercolour. Delegates will explore drawing simple buildings, snowy hills, and trees to create a cohesive winter community scene. This lesson supports the Alberta Arts Education curriculum by developing skills in observation, composition, colour, and creative expression, while also making meaningful connections to Social Studies concepts such as communities. Participants will learn skills in how to paint with watercolour while discovering a joyful, calming approach to art-making that encourages creativity and confidence. There is a supply fee of $10 to attend this class. This fee covers the cost of materials you will use in this class. To secure your spot in the class, email the supply fee to [email protected].
