Become your own community planner as you learn how to draw and paint a whimsical winter landscape using watercolour. Delegates will explore drawing simple buildings, snowy hills, and trees to create a cohesive winter community scene. This lesson supports the Alberta Arts Education curriculum by developing skills in observation, composition, colour, and creative expression, while also making meaningful connections to Social Studies concepts such as communities. Participants will learn skills in how to paint with watercolour while discovering a joyful, calming approach to art-making that encourages creativity and confidence.
