How can we best intervene with students who have unfinished learning from previous grade level content? How do we engage students with content at their working level? For which concepts should we intervene? Which models should we use? How might we do this within the regular classroom setting? In another setting? When it comes to interventions in math, we often feel that we have more questions than answers. In this session we will discuss and investigate methods to support and develop foundational concepts of math for students. While the session will be focused on Math 180, an intervention resource for students, the examples used will be helpful for any educator who is concerned about students who have significant gaps in their math learning.
