About me
Kelsey Bagnall is a dedicated educator with 18 years of experience spanning Kindergarten to Grade 12. She currently teaches Grade 1 with Rocky View Schools and serves as the Communications Officer for the Council for Inclusive Education. Kelsey also brings leadership experience from her previous role as a Learning Supports Specialist with Rocky View Schools. She holds a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of Alberta and is passionate about creating inclusive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environments.
Her areas of expertise include Inclusive Education, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Assistive Technology, Social Emotional Learning, Play-Based Learning, and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Kelsey is especially interested in how play can be used as a powerful tool for inclusion, assessment, and curriculum delivery beyond the early years. Her sessions are known for blending research-based strategies with practical classroom applications that empower educators to meet the diverse needs of their students.
