About me

Izabella is an experienced artist and educator with an MFA from the New York Academy of Art and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Alberta. She has received art awards like the Winspear Fund Grant and the Dahesh Museum Award to further her education. Her commissioned portraits include figures such as Lois Hole, Dr. Harriet Winspear, and Dr. Grant MacEwan, and her artwork has been exhibited nationally. With over 20 years of teaching experience from K-12 and as a former fine arts instructor at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Extension, Izabella currently teaches in the Edmonton Public School District.
