About me
I am a middle school teacher with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools, with nearly 20 years of teaching experience across Alberta, including roles in Fox Creek and Hinton. I completed my Master’s in Educational Technology through University of British Columbia, focusing on the meaningful integration of technology to enhance student learning. My work has been recognized at the national level with the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence in STEM - Certificate of Acheivement (2023), an honour celebrating inspirational STEM teaching and innovation in education. Over the past few years, I have also been involved in scholastic esports—coaching teams at St. Patrick’s School, including a Rocket League team that captured a national championship—and I serve as the zone’s representative on the scholastic subcommittee with Alberta Esports, as well as Alberta’s representative for scholastic esports with Esports Canada.
