About me
Sean began his 32 year career as a teacher at Tall Cree First Nation near Fort Vermillion. He counts his many years of experience working with Indigenous Peoples in First Nations school communities as some of his most fullfilling. He then entered the public school system teaching in programs for severely impacted behavioral kids. This experience led to a role in counseling, followed by becoming a school-based administrator.
Most recently he served as a district level mental health/wellness coordinator, and is now an elementary school principal at the beautifully diverse Westpark Elementary School. Sean also holds a professional coaching certification. He is a firm believer in the human spirit and speaks confidently about resiliency and how to grow it, creativity and how to nurture it, and the value and purpose of diverse, inclusive schools from a HOPEful perspective.
