Sherri Jansen has been an educator for over 30 years, working with students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. She is currently the Literacy Coordinator for Red Deer Public Schools, where she is dedicated to supporting educators in building strong literacy skills for all students. Sherri earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership, further deepening her commitment to literacy instruction and educator support. For five years, she also worked as a sessional instructor for preservice teachers at Red Deer Polytechnic, sharing her expertise in literacy instruction and the science of reading. She is passionate about making literacy learning accessible for every student and enjoys collaborating with teachers to bring effective, research-based, and inclusive practices into classrooms.
